Pumpkin Patch

The gaint, orange pumpkin are at the grand pumpkin patch. Fat pumpkins, small pumpkins, red pumpkins, too. The pumpkins are by the great big barn with widows and doors. Also, the green trees of many sizes. It looks like a nice friendly place! The pumpkin patch is cool in Autumn.

Life in Fifth Grade

Fifth grade is very different than fourth grade. But in a good way. We have more freedom and responsibility. I also have five classes and two of them are math this year. I made a new friend and I have nice classmates. In fifth grade we blog more and still have Fun Friday Clubs. We don’t have very long recess and no Fun Friday. But fifth grade ,I can tell is going to be a great year!

Back 2 School!

I like going school shopping and meet the teacher. But first day of school beats all of that! I like learning new things and making new friends, most of all. I look  forward to school also because you get to learn different ways to do stuff and get more freedom as you move up in grades. Thanks, teachers for making every school year great! Happy summer!

Personal Narrative to Wisconsin

Have you ever been up North before?

It’s cold up there, but it’s still really fun! Suddenly “VROOM! VROOM!” My dad started the car. “Load up the rest then

hop in the truck, we’re about to leave!” My mom screamed. We all piled in and my dad backed out of the driveway.

Every  year my family goes on vacation and it’s always somewhere different. Last summer we went to Wisconsin.

We also took family, we asked my cousin and my grandparents if they wanted to come and they said “Of course!”

We stayed at five different hotels. They were all okay, but my favorite one was the first one. It was fancy! It used

to be a train station! We got a key at the front desk and we opened the door that had number 116 on it. Everything

was fancy! I was excited! Once we got comfortable, mom gave us ground rules, like she always does. She also told

us that the main idea of this trip is to go to the Saint Louis Gateway Arch! That happened the next day. First we

drove, then we walked. We arrived on a elvator five minutes later to the top. We looked down, and mom took

pictures! It smelled like fish. It looked like a tiny St. Louis! I wonder where we’re go next year. I wonder if

we’re going to see family. But I know we’re going to have FUN!!!
