Colonial Glassmaker

Another day as glassmaker. Today 14 people ordered a glass vase or cup. I at least need ten done today at this rate! Before I started, I needed to replace the crucible (blending pot). Also, everyday I need sand and certain chemicals. The different types of glass decide the price. Soda-lime glass is thick, dark and hard to see though. It was also the first glass in the colony. People liked it better as windows than olskins. Flint glass is stronger and clearer. American glass came later and was hand blown. It was the most delicate. I have now finished collecting sand and I already had leftover chemicals, so I started making glass! I melted the things and got started. I molded it until the glass was dry. Just 13 more to go!
